An
interjection isn't all that difficult to remember. The reason is
simple: we do it all the time. We walk into a grocery store, see a
friend we didn't expect, and shout, “Hey!” Interjections are one
word sentences (technically not a sentence because a proper sentence
requires a minimum of one noun and one verb) that express sudden
surprise or emotion. Here are a few examples:
-
Oh! - Hey! - Wow! - What? - Stop!
And that's all for
interjections. Bye!
